NOVASHIELD® FLEXIBLE LEAD-FREE RADIATION PROTECTION SHEETS

Novashield is a patented, lead-free composite material that protects against X-ray and gamma ray radiation. It has a polymer base and neutral metal fillers that are mixed to block radiation. Novashield is easy to cut with a utility knife or scissors, and it doesn't pose health risks like lead-based solutions. 

Novashield is available in three ranges: Novashield 365, Novashield 380, and Novashield 800. RX31 and RX41 Novashield sheets are used to make radiation protection clothing, coveralls, and strip curtains. These sheets are made of woven fabric that is resistant to tearing, cracking, and puncturing

Highly flexible and easy to work with, Novashield® can be adapted to many applications and needs with three specific sheet references available: RX31, RX41 and RX45.

RX45 sheets are used to make easily removable radiological shielding forms around complex parts, piping, flexible radiation protection panels such as strip curtains, cover flaps, curtains and blankets.

RX31 and RX41 Novashield® sheets are used to make personal protective equipment: radiation protection clothing, coveralls and strip curtains on glove box ports and shielded hot cells.

Made of woven fabric, resistant to cracking, tearing and puncturing. Novashield® is extremely strong and durable.
