It is vital to determine the Compression Strength of the Box in order to make sure that the box will be able to resist the anticipated compressive forces and to determine the load that the box will be able to with stand during transit and storage. This is a uniquely designed Test Equipment. It is widely used in the Packaging Industry, especially in Corrugated Box Production. Box Compression Strength Tester calculates the Compression Strength of Cardboard Boxes and helps in estimating the amount of force at which the box will start buckling or gets fully deformed under vertical load. And measure the ability of the boxes resist external compression loads during transit and storage. Compression Strength Test also serves as a useful index of overall quality of the material and workmanship of the box Such a type of load is often experienced by packages when they are stacked one upon the other. The Box Compression Test Standard strictly adheres to International Test Standards like ASTM D642, ASTM D4169, TAPPI T804, ISO 12048, and JIS Z0212. For Testing, the specimen must be placed over the test area. The user can easily set a specified amount of load to be exerted and start the Box Compression Testing Machine. The compression plates push the Box downwards and put the set pressure vertically on the specimen.
